Gladis Henriquez
Languages: English, Spanish
Experience: I have been able to combine two of my biggest passions by sharing my music with the audience and
sharing my musical knowledge with students of distinct levels and age.
During the past years, I have been teaching beginner Piano, Ukulele, and Flute. I consider myself a very patient,
passionate, and fun teacher who always feels inspired to find the best learning methods depending on the student’s
goals and interests.
Studied: Texas Christian University (Bachelor’s in Flute Performance), Duquesne University (Master’s in Flute
Performance), and Longy School of Music (Master’s in Music Education)
Specializes in: Classical, Contemporary, Pop music, and Movie soundtracks, Latin, and Music Theory.
Approach: I believe each student deserves the opportunity to learn music in a positive, fun, safe, and welcoming
music classroom. As a teacher and performer, I am passionate about helping students discover their musical journey.
Thus, I like to bring innovative ideas and music activities that can encourage all children to participate and feel
welcome to experiment music in a way that can help them express themselves. Together, we will dive into the
magical music world and learn to make music of our own!
